Primary Discipline: Youth Cycling

Other Disciplines: Mountain Biking

Birth Year: 2007

City Of Residence: Highland

Favorite Race: My favorite race is the Englewood Open mountain bike race in Wisconsin. The field is relatively small, and the course is short, punchy and technical. It is a purpose built XCO course with rock gardens and quick climbs, and the short track is awesome too!

Biggest Accomplishments

My biggest accomplishment in mountain biking was qualifying for Mountain Bike nationals at elevation while fighting off a tough sickness. I struggled with a fever of 102 degrees for multiple days, and then raced on a slightly lower fever and qualified for the championship. While this is not my best result, I think it is my best accomplishment, because I had to push through a tough situation and push my body to the limit.

Advice

My advice to a new rider would be to keep it fun. If you don't enjoy racing, you won't get the results that you are training for. I think having fun in a race situation is key to success.

If I'm Not Competing...

When I'm not riding my bike, you'll find me working to pay for bike parts, working on my bike and car, and hanging out with my friends.

One Thing You Don't Know About Me:

I am a 2 time fantasy football champion.
