Ice Age 50 Mile/50k Trail Run

This ultra marathon takes place on the, glacier carved, Ice Age Trail in La Grange, WI. The event is part of the Montrail Ultra Cup Series where runners compete for the coveted Western States 100 entry. Attracting the top US competitors in the sport, the 50 mile event sold out in 20 minutes. The course runs through thick padded pine forests, some rolling hills with roots and rocks and offers over 7,000 ft of elevation gain and loss.
